Heat transfer coefficient of uPVC Window

Publish Time: 2020-12-23     Origin: Site

The K value is a physical quantity that measures the thermal insulation performance of a material,uPVC Window that is, the heat transfer coefficient.

The K value of architectural glass is defined as: under standard conditions,uPVC Window the heat transfer from one side of the unit area of the glass component to the other side of the air per unit time. The K value is mainly used to measure the heat transfer through the glass system. This value is a function of temperature. The calculation method is the heat passing through one square meter of glass per hour at a temperature difference of one degree Celsius. The unit system is w/m2.k, where w is the heating power, m2 is the glass area, and k is the temperature in Celsius.

The higher the K value, the better the heat transfer performance, but the worse the insulation performance.

The meaning of common letter codes:

Uw—The heat transfer coefficient of the whole window (W/m2·K);

Ug—The heat transfer coefficient of glass (W/m2·K);

Ag—the area of glass m2;

Uf—The heat transfer coefficient of the profile (W/m2·K);

Af—The area of the profile m2;

Lg—the perimeter of the glass m;

Ψg—The linear heat transfer coefficient around the glass (W/m2·K).

Ar is the abbreviation of anti-reflection, that is, anti-reflection glass. AR glass can not only increase the light transmittance, but also reduce the reflectivity. From the optical principle, AR glass can increase the transmittance by plating a layer on the glass surface. Reduce the reflectivity of the film. AR glass is smooth and transparent glass.

Ag is the abbreviation of anti-glare, that is, anti-glare glass, AG glass is to change the reflected light into diffuse reflection, and AG glass is glass with a little frosted effect on the surface

Low-E glass is the abbreviation of Low emissivity, that is, low emissivity glass. It is a film product composed of multiple layers of metal or other compounds coated on the glass surface. The coating layer has the characteristics of high transmission of visible light and high reflection of mid- and far-infrared, which makes it have excellent heat insulation effect and good light transmittance compared with ordinary glass and traditional architectural coated glass.
