The reason for the sashes and frames of plastic steel doors and windows to be bent or deformed, inflexible to close, and poor sealing is the improper selection of UPVC Profiles for doors and windows. The wall thickness is thin, or the reinforced steel is not installed according to the regulations; the connection method to the wall is improper, and the frame is not filled with soft materials to form an "expansion joint"; the joint material and the wall are not reliably connected and fixed; installation and connection The screws are tight; the gap filling material around the frame is too tight. Let me share with you the measures to prevent and control the deformation of plastic steel doors and windows.
(1) UPVC Profiles for doors and windows should be multi-cavity type with a wall thickness of not less than 2.2mm. The thickness of the lining steel plate is not less than 1.2mm.
(2) The cross-section of plastic-steel windows: casement windows used in multi-storey buildings are not less than 50 series; high-rise casement windows are not less than 60 series; sliding windows are not less than 80 series; plastic windows for sealing balconies are not less than 85 series.
(3) The connection between the door and window frame and the wall should be connected with a fixed piece, which is made of 1.5mm cold-rolled steel plate, and the width is greater than or equal to 15mm. The installation position should be 150~200mm away from the window corner, middle horizontal frame and middle mullion, with a distance of 600mm. The fixing piece shall not be installed on the joints of the middle horizontal frame and the middle mullion, so as to prevent the outer frame from being deformed due to the expansion of the frame.
(4) There should be a 15-20mm gap between the door and window frame and the wall. In order to ensure that the door and window can expand and contract freely after installation, the cavity of the gap between the window and the wall should be filled with elastic material.
(5) When filling soft materials, the filling should not be too tight or too loose to prevent the door and window frames from being squeezed and deformed.
(6) The inner cavity of UPVC Profiles should be equipped with reinforced steel according to the design regulations. If the design is not specified, when the outer frame length exceeds 1500mm, reinforced steel should be installed; when the mid-straight and beam exceed 700mm, reinforced steel should be installed; horizontal sliding windows, Reinforced steel should be installed on the door of the room. Reinforced steel and profile should be fastened with screws to increase rigidity. Prevent deformation.
(7) Reinforced steel must be installed in the assembling material, and the lining steel should be 10-15mm longer than the assembling material, and the top and bottom should be reliably fixed to the wall. The window frame should be clamped in the same frame and fastened with screws in both directions, with a spacing of not less than 600mm
(8) The tightness of the various fixing screws should be basically the same, and they should not be too loose or too tight.
